Stone Oak Park

Posted on March 28, 2011

What?!  It’s Monday already?!  Say it ain’t so.

Our weekend buzzed by and we didn’t come close to crossing off all the items on our to-do list.  Sigh…there’s always next weekend.  In our defense, it’s hard to stay indoors when the weather is beautiful and there are a plethora of parks to choose from.  So, we ignored our ever-growing list and headed to Stone Oak Park.  Gus appears 100% recovered and we couldn’t be more thankful.

Can you tell Gus wasn’t excited about this posed photo?  In retrospect, we should have waited until after our walk to make him sit patiently.

First things first…Gus had to mark his spot.  Fun fact, Gus never used to lift his leg when he peed.  He always peed in the yoga, plank position.  A couple of months ago he started lifting his leg.  Why the change?

Look at his tail!  Up and wagging!

See the house up high on the hill?  That’s the one we’re trying to sell.

Just kidding…we wish.

We were totally fascinated with these lady bugs.  M and I were anyway, Gus couldn’t have cared less.  We imagined the big lady bug is the parent and is giving the kiddo a piggy back ride.  Mom, I’m so tired, can you give me a lift?
