Kodak Gallery

Update:  We noticed some of the links we posted were invalid.  We added the links to our post on Thursday evening and Kodak changed their site on Friday!  We online chatted to see if the free offers were still valid and we were told they were.  All you have to do is create your cards and the price will be changed to zero in your cart!

Happy Friday, Blog Friends!

It always feels so good to type F-R-I-D-A-Y.  We are very happy to report that Gus turned a major corner at the beginning of the week and is recovering splendidly.  We started taking him on longer walks around the neighborhood a few days ago and plan on taking him for a short walk at the park this weekend.  Our happy-go-lucky dogger has returned and we couldn’t be happier about it. 😀

We came across a fantastic deal we had to share with you.  Several months ago while uploading photos to Kodak Gallery, we noticed they were offering 50 free Contact Cards and 10 free Birth Announcement Cards100% Free.  We are not ones to pass up a good deal and it didn’t take us long to figure out how to turn “Mommy Contact Cards” and “Birth Announcements” into something revolving around Gus.  There was no other purchase requirement and we were only charged for shipping (less than $5 for both sets).

It only took a few minutes to create this Contact Card.  The process is really user-friendly and you are able to make color and font choices.

Very cool, right?!  All of our family and a lot of our friends live over 1,000 miles away from us.  Most of them don’t even know about our blog and we thought these cards would be fun to send out so they could follow along during our travels.

Free!  Free!  Free!

Next up are the “Birth Announcements“.  Kodak is obviously marketing these cards for human babies, but there is no fine print that excludes the furry variety. 😉  These cards are perfect for when we want to send a note to family or friends.  Who wouldn’t want to open up a card that features both a baby green elephant and Gus?!

What?  Gus isn’t our whole life? 😉

What are you waiting for?  Go get your freebies before they yank the deal off their site!

Before we sign off, we wanted to share a photo we recently snapped of Gus during a short walk around the neighborhood.  This little dogger absolutely lives for being active and we are so glad he is feeling better.  We think his smile in this photo says it all!

We hope you have a fantastic weekend.  We are down to only 11 weekends left in San Antonio and plan to enjoy the city and spring weather.  See you tomorrow for the Saturday Pet Blogger Hop!

Psst…For the past 24 hours, we’ve been unable to access our WordPress blog subscriptions.  We’ve tried three different laptops + our (new!) iPad 2.  Please don’t think we’re ignoring you!  We will catch up as soon as our subscriptions load.  Note to self:  add all blogs to Google Reader instead of relying on WP!

Ummm…scratch that, at 10:45 p.m. it finally started working!  The sound of the alarm is going to HURT today!
