According to Gus, wearing an aqua-colored sweatshirt to the park is humiliating.
I finally uploaded the first batch of photos I took over the holidays. Eeek! There are almost 600 photos! Although I only got through a few yesterday, I had to share one of my favorites right away. I snapped this while we were at McAllister Park over our holiday break. I adore watching his shadow as he’s walking along and this photo captured it perfectly. His fuzzy butt and tail couldn’t be more photogenic, don’t you think?
I’ve been off work for the last 10 days and I’m not going to lie, heading back in today will be brutal. All I really want to do is veg on the sofa blogging about our Christmas. Gus had such a great holiday and received so many fun gifts. I seriously might still be blogging about it all in May!

Oh boy do we understand. Our Monday began with a rainstorm, add to that my youngest human brother had one little bit of winter break homework that he didn’t tell anyone about that he decided to do at 8PM last night 1 hour before his normal bedtime. My mom just said, “whatever” and went back to eating her pie. Me… my back teeth floated until there was a break in the rain. Now I’m waiting on another break so that I can “wade” down the sidewalk with my other furry buddies. The squirrels are snug in their hidey holes laughing at us. Mom, didn’t do any of her work over the break either. But she’s still in vacation mode and doesn’t really care. I want another vacation! It rained all during my ours. We can’t we have a “mulligan”?
By the way, his butt sure is cute, almost as cute as mine. 🙂

Can’t wait to see all Christmas photos.
I have to admit, I am so very jealous of your warm weather. Mum says I may be able to handle the dog park in another month or so. Until then it’s just too cold to go outside for much more than a quick potty and maybe a zip around the “race track”.

Sounds like you had a great holiday. I am still trying to wrap my mind around having to work and I’ve been at work for over four hours today! I always try to get pictures of Spike and Dru’s shadows but they always move. I swear some times they are in witness protection!

Hey Gus,
I feel your pain – so far I’m not the biggest fan of dressing up! I put up with it for Halloween (I kind of got distracted and forgot I was wearing the silly sweater) – But I was on my guard for Xmas and refused to wear the Santa hat!!
Glad you had fun over the holidays though, despite the wardrobe!!

She is home from her final Heartworm dose at the Vet and now we just believe and hope that in 4 months when she is retested that those icky worms will be gone!
