We agree! We are interrupting our Word Whiz Wednesday post because we were so excited to share a very special package we received in the mail. Prepare yourself to ooh and ahhh…you’re about to see something ridiculously cute!
Back in November, we participated in the Holiday Hop for Pets Giveaway. We were lucky enough to win a hand painted pet portrait ornament by BecArt Studio compliments of Cindy Lu’s Muse!

I am a sucker for beautiful product packaging, and this hand-made box was no exception! We love the “Mister Gus” and paw print on the outside ribbon.

Although we were too late for this holiday season, we plan to order pet portrait ornaments for our dogger friends and family in the future. Baby Ruth passed away this year to canine cancer, and this would make a wonderful tribute gift.

We were seriously blown away when we first saw the finished product. BecArt captured all of Gus’s facial details perfectly…down to his white beard and the black in his ears!

As I’ve mentioned before, Gus is not a fan of posed photos…but we had to capture at least a couple of him next to his portrait ornament. He’s looking away with disgust at me during this photo.

Doesn’t it look gorgeous on the tree?! This ornament is too precious to enjoy only during the holiday season, so it will definitely find a permanent spot in our house.

Okay, I’m pretty sure that my mom just about peed her pants when I showed her this postie. See, she has ornaments for all the other pets in the house but none for me. She says it’s easy to find a orange kitteh ornament or a doggie ornament that looks like Brudder Ranger. But it’s SUPER hard to find any ornaments that look like me. So she’s just about beside herself with happiness abouts this. Uh, okay, I better go find her a bag to breathe into.
I LUVS your ornament, Gus! And I think it was awful nice of you to pose next to it for your mom.
